A Swiss big, rare and heavy 5 minute repeating watch, caliber LeCoultre, circa 1890.
18 carat pink gold, “à goutte” case, spring lid with monogram AC, dome inscribed “Repetition a 5 Minutes”, glazed movement. Very fine precision lever movement, repeating hours and 5 minutes, caliber Le Coultre, screwed gold chatons, balanced lever. White enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, sunk subsidiary dial for the constant seconds and pink gold Louis XV hands.
