Magnificent hunting cased pocket watch

A magnificent full hunting case Renaissance pocket watch with chronometer escapement and very fine Geneva quality, made in Switzerland, circa 1880. The heavy Savonnette (full hunter) à-goutte (waterdrop shape) cased watch is made of 18 Carat gold, has the finest Renaissance engravings on both sides and is numbered and the dust cover marked Genève Chronometre. The white enamel dial has an outer ring with Arabic numerals for the minutes and Arabic numerals for the minutes, a subsidiary dial at six o’clock with Arabic numerals for the seconds and steel hands
The movement has factory glazing and a chronometer escapement with rocker and cylindrical spiral.
