A Swiss 18 carat rose gold pocket watch with calendar, circa 1890. The movement with a straight line lever escapement. White enamel dial with black Roman hours, outer gold minute dots, outermost black Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, an aperture for the weekdays in French between 8 and 9 o’clock, a further aperture for indication of the date between 3 and 4, gold hands. Plain stepped bezels and the case back engine turned with a vacant, round, central cartouche. Case numbered.
