Silver open faced lever digital watch

A fine Swiss, silver keyless jump-hours and minutes digital pocket watch, circa 1890. Made for the German market. Using the A. Kaiser system, patented on 24 February 1885. An engine-turned back with a vacant cartouche. Hinged silver cuvette. Matte silver dial with applied silver flowers, apertures for the hours and minutes, subsidiary dial for the seconds. A gilt brass movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Case with German import mark.
