A Swiss deck chronometer with a 41 hour power reserve indicator from the US Navy’s inventory, circa 1940. This watch features a hand wound mechanical lever movement. It has a white enamel dial with a black-painted minute track and Roman numerals, blackened steel Poire hands, a large second hand at 6 o’clock, and a 41 hour power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. The silver case features a smooth bezel, fluted crown, double officer’s back, and an engraved inscription: US NAVY. The case, dial, and movement are signed.
