Silver open faced key winding round-shaped consular pocket watch

A Swiss silver open faced key wound consular pocket watch with a special escapement, circa 1820-1830.
Polished case. White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands.
Fire gilded brass full plate movement, turned baluster pillars, fusee and chain, maintaining power, a rack lever escapement, an escape wheel with 30 teeth, polished steel monometallic three arm balance, blued steel flat hairspring, a gilded engraved English cock inscribed 1re Classe, large diamond end stone in a blued steel setting, blued steel index regulator and gilt brass sprung dust ring.
