Niëllo silver open faced lever watch

A rare Swiss silver and niëllo open faced poor man’s tourbillon lever pocket watch according to Swiss Patent No. 30754 of Paul Loichot, circa 1900. The niëllo decorated case is engraved on the back depicting a hunting scene, a rose gold cartouche in the center, the bezels and band with a geometrical pattern. Silvered, engine turned dial, eccentric indication of time in the upper half with radial Roman hour numerals, outer minute divisions and blued spade hands, an aperture to view the visible tourbillon with a decoratively engraved balance bridge. Frosted gilt full plate movement with a club tooth lever escapement, polished screws and screwed compensation balance.
