A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced key winding pocket watch by Vacheron Constantin, Geneva, circa 1830. An engine turned caseback, with, in the center, a circle, chiselled bezels, fluted case band, and an engraved cuvette with technical specifications. Inside the case back, engraved are the mentions: Elsey Davis Thwing/1824/Henry Bartlett/ 1844/ Anna S. Everett/ July 20. 1872/ Annie Haven Thwing/ 1905.

Silver colour dial with radial Roman numerals, outside minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and yellow gold Pear hands. A gilded brass movement, going barrel, lateral lever escapement, gilt brass monometallic balance and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel and blued steel index regulator with temperature compensating bimetallic curb and parechute; the main plate stamped with the eagle V&C early logo. The cuvette and movement are signed.
