A fine and rare Swiss silver keyless pocket watch, made by International Watch Co. in Schaffhausen, circa 1890. Especially made for the Frauenberg Schützenfest in 1890. The bezel, band and back border decorated with chased stylized leaves, the back decorated with the arms of Frauenfeld and the motto: Einer für alle – Alle für einen (One for all, all for one). White enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary dials at 6, outer five-minute track and decorative gold hands. A frosted movement, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Signature on the dial, case and movement.
