An unique Swiss white and yellow 18 carat gold Art Deco keyless dress watch, circa 1930. The case is made by Verger, France. A white gold Empire case, polished and brushed, yellow gold back rim, bezel and bow. Matte silver dial with an applied figure of a seated Guru with a Surahi, pointing to the hours and minutes with his arms when a push piece in the band is depressed. Rhodium plated movement, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to temperatures and five positions, self compensating flat balance spring. Signed on the movement, Verger master mark in the case.
