A Swiss very rare gold/enamel Patek Philippe half hunting cased pocket watch, from the former possession of a count, circa 1865.
18 carat gold, “à goutte” case with enameled monogram MRR on the back, enameled count crown, spring lid with cobalt blue enameled Roman numerals and signed and numbered dome; very decorative signed enamel dial with black Arabic hours, red Arabic minute register, sunk subsidiary dial with red seconds and original blued steel hands; Patek Philippe precision lever movement with wolf’s toothing, early crown winding movement, patent Adrien Philippe and very rare caliber.

This watch was very likely made for a Polish count. A comparable piece was sold in Geneva auction in 2003 for over 9,000 CHF.
