A rare Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch with independent jumping centre seconds “Seconde Morte” double winding system for two trains, circa 1890.
18 carat rose gold à goutte case with gold dome and glazed movement. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, independent jumping centre seconds and spade hands. Bridge movement, frosted, gilt, double winding system for two trains with click on the top, screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, counterpoised lever.
