A very fine, rare, manual wind, Swiss gold open faced chronograph pocket watch, circa 1913. Made for Beyer Zurich, sold in November 1928.
Keyless-winding, rhodium-plated bridge movement, calibre 18, going barrel, lever escapement. Enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes/seconds track with five minutes/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6, 1/5 second chronograph, instantaneous 30-minute counter (subsidiary dial at 12 o’clock), and original Breguet-style hands. Polished 18K yellow gold case. Dial, case (also inscribed made for Beyer Zurich) and movement signed. Accompanied by the extract from the archives.
