Gold watch with lever escapement

A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1980. An entirely chased and hand engraved case, the front cover depicting a lion and lioness, the back with a lioness and cubs. Lacquered dial with painted radial Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track and black Louis XVI hands. The rhodium plated movement with a straight line lever escapement, stamped twice with the Seal of the Geneva Quality Mark, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, a monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, self compensating Breguet balance spring and swan neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
