An unusual and rare French gold keyless watch featuring two dials, circa 1910. It features a mechanical jewelled lever movement. There are two dials: one displaying a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, an outer gauge scale calibrated for 20 kilometres, and an inner gauge scale calibrated for 15 kilometres; the other showcasing a white enamel dial with Arabic numerals for the central 15 seconds chronograph, along with an inner red telemeter ring marked in intervals of 5 kilometres, and signed: Breveté A.T. – Ce phonotélemetre est recommandé par Mr. le Ministre de la Guerre à l’attention des officers. The case is made of 18 carat gold, and a small compass is set in the knurled winding crown, with a small wheel located at the bottom part of the band for the distance gauge.
