Unusual 17th Century style watch and chatelaine

A verge in an unusual silver and enamel octagonal case in the style of a 17th Century rock crystal watch with matching chatelaine, circa 1810. Circular full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel endstone, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. Silver-gilt oval dial decorated with champlevé black, red and green translucent enamel. Circular white enamel chapter of Roman numerals and decorative pierced gold hands. The case was made in the style of an early 17th Century octagonal rock crystal watch. Faceted glass body and cover in hinged silver-gilt frames decorated with champlevé black, red and green translucent enamel. The octagonal buckle is similarly decorated, the frame securing a deep bevel glass over a painting of an early 17th Century lady wearing a ruff. Three pierced silver-gilt chains, also decorated with champleve black, red and green translucent enamel, matching key on a light silver chain.
