A fine and unusual Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless lever watch, circa 1930. 18″Ligne mechanical lever movement with eighteen jewels, eight adjustments, and signed: Vacheron Constantin Swiss Geneve. Twotone matte silvered dial with applied Breguet numerals, outer beaded minute division, engine turned subsidiary dial for constant seconds, Breguet style hands, and signed Vacheron & Constantin, Genève – Swiss. 18k yellow gold case with cuvette and monogrammed hinged back. Case, dial, and movement are signed. Comes with an associated gold chain.

The case exhibits visible patina, surface scratches, and scuffing throughout. The accompanying chain shows similar wear and lacks any stamps. The dial is in generally good condition, with minor wear and scratches noticeable under magnification. There is slight discolouration near the 11 o’clock position. The indexes and hands show signs of oxidation and scratching. The movement is operational.
