A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch, made by Nordman Brothers in Geneva, circa 1890. With independent center seconds. Dead independent seconds, exterior graduation with central hand; activated by the rectangular push piece located on the border of the bezel at 6 o’clock. Two barrels with differential gears and bidirectional winding inspired by Sylvain Mairet’s (1805-1890) works (1850-1855). An engine turned case, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel fleur de lys hands. A rhodium plated, 35 jewels, two train, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement are signed.
