An unusually small Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased quarter repeating lever pocket watch, circa 1890. Small gilt split three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel, plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement, slide quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs. Decorative white enamel dial with Roman numerals, gilt and silver border, pierced gilt hands. Plain case, engraved dedication on the gold cuvette, gold slide in the band.
