A very fine English pink gold and enamel pair cased watch made for the Turkish market london, circa 1780, gilt fusee and chain verge escapement movement, balance cock pierced and engraved, plate engraved.
White enamel dial, Turkish numerals, outer minute track, gold poker and beetle hands, outer case yellow gold with pink, red, yellow and white champlevé enamel floral borders, centred by a red translucent enamel completed by a floral trophy enamel painting in the centre, inner case in polished yellow gold, dial and movement signed, interior case hallmarked.
