A very fine Swiss keyless 18 carat yellow gold pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph. Made in Switzerland for Tiffany & Co, New York circa 1901.
Four-body polished case, concealed hinge, rectangular pusher on the band for the split-seconds, locking bolt at 11 o’clock. Hinged gold cuvette.
White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute/second track and fifths of a second divisions with red Arabic five-minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands
Movement with 24 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and index regulator.
Dial, case and movement signed Tiffany & Co.
