A charming Swiss 18 Carat gold, diamond, sapphire and half pearl set open faced lever pocket watch, circa 1890. Bridge movement, Paillard’s Patent balance and spring, club tooth lever escapement, anti magnetic gold screw compensation balance and palladium spring after Paillard’s Patent. Engine-turned, translucent red enamelled dial with gold paillons, Roman hours against a white ground and Louis XVI hands. The case back is decorated with diamonds and sapphires, both bezels and the bow set with half pearls.
Movement signed and numbered, case numbered.
