A fine and heavy Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph pocket watch with gold watch chain, circa 1890. Bridge movement, LeCoultre calibre, two hammers, two gongs, lever escapement, gold screw compensation balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic five-minute numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Plain case, the front with an engraved and black enamelled monogram, maker’s mark JL, a pusher for the chronograph at 12 o’clock, a slide for the repeating mechanism. Dial and cuvette signed, case numbered.
