A fine Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased lever pocket watch made for the Russian market, circa 1905. Retailed by M.P. Kalashnikov & Son in Moscow. Bridge movement, a piston tooth lever escapement and gold screw compensation balance. The gold cuvette with the retailer’s signature in Cyrillic. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and spade & whip hands. The engine turned case with plain bezels and a reeded band. Dial and cuvette signed, case numbered, movement signed and numbered.
