A fine, unusual and small French 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating manual wind pocket watch made by L. Leroy & Cie in Paris, circa 1900. The movement with a lever escapement. Gold engine turned dial with black Roman hour numerals in round cartouches on a brushed chapter ring, outer minute divisions and heavy moon hands. Plain bezels, pendant and bow, the case back with guilloché sunray decoration and a monogrammed cartouche in the lower part. Dial and movement signed, case signed and numbered. Comes with the fitted presentation box.
