A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless pocket watch with Jacquemart automaton made by Schwob Frères & Cie in La Chaux-de-Fonds, circa 1890. The jewelled movement with a lever escapement. Translucent blue enamel on the front featuring a small, screwed on, central, engine turned burgundy enamel dial with gold Roman hour numerals, outer dot minute divisions, auxiliary seconds and gold hands, surrounded by a multicoloured gold automaton scene with two figures striking the bells in unison with the repeating and two cornucopias above. An engine turned case with a decoratively engraved vacant cartouche on the front, the hinged back with a cuvette. Dial and movement signed, case signed and numbered.
