Gold enamelled watch in the shape of a sheep

A French 18 carat gold, enamel and seed pearl set watch in the form of a sheep, circa 1810. The manual winding movement with a verge escapement. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions and blued moon hands. The case is polychrome enamelled and depicts a sheep lying on grass, the back with an additional women’s hat and flowers, both sides are enhanced with seed pearls, with a Parisian gold guarantee Hallmark for 1809-1819 showing the head of a cock turned to the left with an open beak.
