A French yellow gold quarter repeating open faced cylinder pocket watch, circa 1810. This watch has a gilded full plate movement and a cylinder escapement. Its white enamel dial features black Breguet style hour numerals, outer minute divisions, and elegant Breguet hands. The polished yellow gold case is engraved with a serial number and stamped with H.B. Cuvette signed Jac. Morel A Paris.

The cuvette exhibits wear with some loss of gilding. The case band has dents and scratches near the hinge. There is a chip at the 12 o’clock position on the outer edge. The movement ticks when wound, but the repeat function is nonoperational and needs servicing.
