A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Vacheron Constantin SA in Geneva, circa 1930. Retailed by Bigelow Kennard & Co. in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. The movement with a lever escapement, 21 jewels, adjusted to temperature and five positions, wolf’s tooth winding, a bimetallic compensation balance and precision regulation. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold spade hands. A plain case. Dial signed by the retailer, case numbered and signed by the retailer, cuvette numbered, movement numbered and signed by the watchmaker and retailer.
