An English 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch with stoppable seconds made by John Lecomber in Liverpool and London, Chester Hallmarked for 1882. The gilt ¾ plate movement with an English lever escapement, and cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, outermost fifth of a second divisions calibrated from 0-300 with luminous dot five minute markers, blued steel cathedral hands with luminous inserts and a center seconds hand. The polished hinged case with a start/stop slide at 5 o’clock and a vacant cartouche on the front, stamped J.L. Dial signed Decimal Chronograph Sept. 13. 1875 Registered, movement signed and numbered, cuvette and case numbered. Comes with a gold watch chain.
