An English 18 carat gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Sir John Bennett Ltd in London, London Hallmarked for 1898. The gilt ¾ plate movement with an English lever escapement, and a cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The polished case is stamped P.W. Movement signed, case and movement with matching numbers. Comes with the original fitted presentation box.
