A Swiss 18 carat gold half hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch made by Breitling in Saint-Imier, circa 1890. The glazed Swiss lever movement with a cut and compensated bimetallic balance, striking the minutes with two hammers on two gongs. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The polished hinged case with red enamel and a Roman numeral chapter on the front. Dial signed, case numbered.
