A rare French gilt pocket watch with protective case (ca. Ø 70 mm), leather covered brass, gilt inside, replaced leather, circa 1700.
Early fire gilt verge movement, cage with birds, main plate signed, engraved barrel drum. Pierced case, repoussé scene ‘cat and goose’ to the back.
White enamel dial with blue numerals, a rare edition with enameled alarm disc and iron hand.
