Rose gold ladies’ pocket watch

A fine and rare Swiss 14 carat rose gold and enamel open faced keyless pocket watch made by Czapek in Geneva in the 1890s. The frosted gilt bridge caliber movement with 16 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance and blued steel Breguet balance spring. Porcelain dial with painted Roman hour numerals, outer minute division and original blued steel heavy moon hands. A solid case, the hinged case back foliate engraved and with a polychrome enamel Maria motif, a further hinged gold cuvette. Cuvette signed, movement numbered. Accompanied by a presentation box and necklace.
