A French exquisite gold verge pocket watch with jewels and original shagreen protective case by Marchand a Paris, circa 1785, glazed gilt protective case with shagreen and pin decoration, beautiful 18 carat multicoloured gold case, jewels on both sides.  Engraving and enamelled squares at the back, jewelled opening button.
White enamel dial with Roman numerals and decorative jewelled silver hands.
Full plate fire gilt movement with pierced and engraved cock, nice silver regulator disc.
Winding through the original enamel front, the enamel is in perfect condition, beautiful decorative silver hands with jewels in very good condition, with an old key.
