Very fine and early Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased pocket watch with independent, stoppable seconds and tandem winding, winding in manner of Mairet’s patent, circa 1875. Glazed movement, very fine bar movement with Geneva striping and simultaneous winding of both barrels, patent by Mairet, lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and steel hands. Engine turned à goutte case. Dome numered and signed No 7299 Seconde Independante Ancre Ligne Droite 32 Rubis Levées Visible Spiral Breguet Balancier Compensé Pateck & Cie Genève Rementoir, matching numbers on case and movement.
