An early Bavarian gilt pair cased quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1750. Signed verge movement, repeating the hours and quarters. Silver champlevé dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, signed by retailer Maurer, gilt hands. Both cases with sound openings, outer case with central relief scene and four cartouches with different images, inner case decorated with grotesque face and rocailles, bell.
