A thin Swiss 18 carat gold Lépine with Bagnolet calibre in the extremely rare skeletonized version, circa 1840. Signed Bagnolet calibre, silvered, gilt floral engraved, extremely thin cylinder movement, front and back decorated, view through the glass to the silvered and florally engraved bridges, gears and the escapement, curved domed regulator hand. Skeletonized dial, white enamel ring with Roman numerals and blued Breguet hands. Engraved case, coin rim.
