A rare Swiss 14 carat gold double sided astronomical hunting cased pocket watch with calendar according to the patent of Henri Jacot-Burmann, circa 1890. Plain case. Fine anker chronometer movement. To the front white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, inscribed Calendrier Breveté, an aperture for the moon phase made of blued steel with very beautiful rose gold inlays, dial to the back with a hinged calendar, date, day of the week and month with the number of days per month, rose gold hands, punched with patent number and serial number.
