Extraordinary, early German-Danish silver pair cased repoussé verge watch, circa 1720. Fire gilt verge movement with exceptional pillars, early cock with grotesque face. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, gilt hands. Outer case exceptional repoussé work in Rococo design, plain inner case, maker’s mark SP. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
