An early French 18 carat rose gold open faced precision pocket watch, circa 1870. Exquisite lever chronometer movement, exceptional large chronometer balance, wolf’s toothing. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, subsidiary seconds, and rose gold hands. Plain, monogrammed case. Case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered. Comes with the wooden sales box with the retailer’s signature Olivier in Rennes.
