A very rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced ankerchronometer, Chronometro Gondolo, circa 1912. Very fine ankerchronometer movement, fine adjusting device, moustache lever escapement, wolf’s toothing, chronometer balance, gold screws. White enamel dial with black Roman hours, red Arabic 24 hour register, subsidiary seconds and gold hand. Plain case, monogram RP on the back. Dial signed, cuvette and movement signed and numbered. Comes with the original box.
