A very early Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased lever pocket watch, circa 1865. Fine Patek Philippe bar movement, early crown winding, wolf’s toothing, moustache lever. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands. Case engine-turned. Case numbered, dial signed, cuvette and movement signed and numbered, case and movement with matching numbers.
