A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless wind chronograph pocket watch, circa 1912. Nickel finished Swiss lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, column wheel chronograph. Co-signed white enamel dial, black Arabic numerals, black outer minute and 1/5th second divisions, red outer tachymeter markers, subsidiary dials at 3 and 9 for seconds and 30 minute recording, gilt spade hands, center chronograph hand. Polished round hinged case, chronograph button at 12. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered, case stamped P&D and numbered.

Longines have confirmed that the movement was invoiced on 23 August 1918 to the company Perusset, which was at that time their agent for Argentina. The remainder of the watch was then produced locally under license from Longines. An Extract from the Archive is now available.
