A  French silver and gilt-brass verge Renaissance pendant watch, circa 1620. Very early verge movement without hairspring, high and very steep fusee, gut string missing. Very fine silver dial matching to the case band, Roman hours, above the 12 the face of an angel, iron hands. The case band decorated with flowers, tendrils and buds, base and lid plain and domed. Movement signed.
