Fine, very rare and large Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless pocket watch with painted on enamel automaton Jacquemarts, circa 1890. Matte silver movement, 35 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating with two hammers on two gongs activated by a slide on the band. Small white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, flanked by polychrome painted on enamel cherub musicians repeating hours, quarter hours and minutes on bells. The putti to the right rising from the tree when the repeat slide is activated. Movement signed, case numbered.
