Very fine, rare and unusual, heavy Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless split seconds pocket watch with 1/4 seconds foudroyante, circa 1890. Gilt brass movement, 21 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, adjusted cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometric cam type regulator. White enamel dial with black Roman hours and red Arabic minutes. Plain case. Case signed and numbered.
