An English 20 carat gold pair cased hour repeating repoussé verge pocket watch, circa 1760. Early fire-gilt verge movement, one hammer, the cage with shell decoration, repeating the hours on a bell. Original white enamel Dutch dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, original gilt hands. Repoussé outer case, the inner case pierced, ornamented with blossoms and tendrils, bell. Movement signed. Comes with an attractive watch chain.
