A highly interesting and very unusual heavy Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased jumping centre seconds duplex pocket watch made for the Ottoman market, circa 1855. Glazed, Fleurier-type duplex movement with Ottoman decoration. Screwed original white enamel dial with Ottoman numerals, jumping centre seconds and blued steel hands. Case with deep floral engraving on both sides. Movement signed.
