A high-quality and heavy Swiss 18 Carat rose gold hunting cased anker chronometer pocket watch, circa 1909. Very fine gilt bridge movement, probably a deck watch calibre, anker chronometer, large bimetallic screw balance with blued Breguet hairspring, micrometre fine adjusting device, polished balanced lever, polished escape wheel, wolf’s toothing, Vacheron & Constantin punch, blued screws. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours, red Arabic 24-hour register, subsidiary seconds and blued pear shaped hands. Plain case, crown winding. Dial signed, case numbered, cuvette signed and additionally inscribed Chronomètre, movement signed and numbered.
